Blog 6
At first, I did not like Diigo. It was weird to use and difficult to navigate. Almost too tedious! But after a quick lesson on its use, I was able to figure out how to publish bookmarks and comment on the articles while also annotating them. It's a good technological tool to use while doing research and I recommend it now to my friends!
Blogging is okay. I forget to do it until the day of but it's never hard. I think it can be hard to blog only when I do not have much to say. Other than that, it is a good record of keeping track of assignments, material learned, and how other students think. Blogging is a useful technique with keeping up with others.
A Web 2.0 tool I would use to teach my students would be NVivo. It is definitely an advanced tool I would teach older students/college educated people to use. It can help you code your learning material while also adding annotations to the content. Its use is similar to Diigo with the annotation, comment, and highlighting tools that are available. The best part about the application is that it is also similar to Word!
Hii! I haven't ever heard of Nvivo but maybe I will have to give it a try. Also, i agree with your statement about blogging, good for learning about your classmates and their opinions.
